An Anti Ragging Empowered Committee has been constituted at NIT Hamirpur to ensure a ragging-free campus. The Committee works to prevent ragging and to address complaints of ragging in accordance with the applicable regulations, so that every student feels safe and welcomed on the campus.

A ragging-free campus provides a safe and congenial environment for students to focus on their academic and personal growth. Students are encouraged to report any incident of ragging to the Committee or the concerned authorities.

Students may report any incident of ragging to the Office of Dean (Student Welfare) or the Faculty Incharge (Student Discipline).

The Anti Ragging Empowered Committee of NIT Hamirpur has been constituted as per the applicable regulations of the Government of India to curb the menace of ragging. The Committee deals with all matters related to ragging and ensures strict action against defaulters.
